The things that her father teaches her!!!!! I swear Patrick would have said this maybe a couple times months ago and sure enough Tessa remembered it.

As per usual Patrick was leaving this morning to work. Tess and I were at the door kissing and hugging him goodbye and as I close and lock the door, Tess looks up at me with those big brown eyes and says, " Mom where is Pops going? Is he going to bring home the bacon?" I scoop her up in my arms and tell her ,"Yes Tess, Pops is going to work."

A visit from the Hudson Boys

It was well over 8 months since we saw our very missed Hudson family but finally this past Monday they came for a very very short visit...a mere 20hours...but at least they came.. is all that matters. The kids had a great time together...Tess would give a few screams here and there saying how excited she was to have them there. They did everything from joining Tess at gymnastics to eating donuts at Tim Hortons to going shoe shopping together and playing tag at the indoor playground. Here are a few pics of how adorable they all were.

Yes, I have been complaining about the rain and Tess obviously knows it. Do you know that is has rained 77mm in May thus far? and in Saint John where we used to live it has merely rained 17mm. Ugh!
I needed to give you this background before I gave you her quote.This late afternoon we are leaving the grocery store and we are walking to our car and Tess says to me, "Mom, the rain is sleeping". Not really understanding I asked her "Pardon, what do you mean?" and she says, "Mom it stopped raining, it must be sleeping!"
